Setups

A setup builds a whole situation at once: pages, tables, boards and sessions that already know about each other. The shot list hangs on the session, the brief pulls location and schedule from it, the overview calculates from the tables. Setups are included in every plan, including the free one.

There are two levels:

Creating a setup

1. In the sidebar, click + next to Projects. Or click Templates under Tools: outside of pages, boards and tables this opens the setups directly.
2. Pick a setup under For a situation or Whole workspace. Below the selected setup you see what it creates.
3. Optional: Preview shows an image and description, All templates takes you back to the list.
4. For project setups: enter the First date. Sessions, deadlines and examples hang on it. If empty, it is set two weeks from today.
5. Optional: switch on With sample content (see below)
6. Create project or Set up workspace

Afterwards the page Start hier (“start here”) opens: three steps to get going and an overview of what lives where.

Note

A workspace setup adds to the workspace you are in. Everything already there stays as it is.

With sample content

Without the switch, tables get a few example rows that show how they are meant to work. With With sample content, Pachurros fills tables, pages and boards with a believable sample month, so you can see right away how overviews, metrics and views look with real data.

Example rows are marked. Above the table a notice then offers Clear examples: one click removes all of them, your own rows stay. To keep them, choose Hide notice, keep examples.

The overview of every workspace setup is a page with metrics and embedded views, a small dashboard.

Names of the created parts

The created pages, tables and columns start out with German names (for example Start hier, Aufträge, Kontakte), even if you use Pachurros in another language. You can rename them at any time.

Template gallery on the web

All setups are also public at pachurros.com/vorlagen: one page per setup with an image, “What is inside” and the first steps. Open in Pachurros takes you straight into the setup’s preview when you are signed in. Without an account it goes through sign-up, and the setup waits for you in onboarding afterwards.

After creating

Setups are starting points, not restrictions. You can add, rename or delete pages, boards and tables at any time. To reuse a proven project later, Duplicate it (see Projects).
