Settings & Formats
Where the settings live
Section titled “Where the settings live”Click your name at the bottom left, then Settings. Settings are a page of their own with seven sections:

The page always starts on Profile. Every section has its own address and can be linked to.
The small menu under your name now only holds your identity, the way into settings, tour, documentation, appearance and sign out.
Default formats
Section titled “Default formats”Under Formats you decide how dates and times appear everywhere — in tables, tasks, sessions and exports. A preview shows the result immediately.

Time zone
Section titled “Time zone”The time zone governs more than clock times: it decides which day is currently today. That determines whether a task is marked overdue and whether “Today” in My Tasks means the right day. Without a setting of your own, your device’s time zone applies — which is right for most people. If you regularly work across time zones, fix here which day counts.
Week starts on
Section titled “Week starts on”Applies to the calendar view and every date picker. Monday is the default.
The rule: the column wins
Section titled “The rule: the column wins”If you set a format explicitly for a single table column, that column wins. Your default applies everywhere nothing else is set.
Change a column’s format through the column menu under Configure.
What stays deliberately short
Section titled “What stays deliberately short”Some places show shortened or relative dates on purpose — “5 Aug” on a task’s due date, “Today” and “Yesterday” in My Tasks, month labels on the timeline. A full date would cost more room there than it adds in clarity.
