Connection Lines
Connection lines show relationships between elements — such as sequences, dependencies, or thematic connections.
Creating a connection
Section titled “Creating a connection”- Hover over an element — connection points (small circles) appear at its edges
- Click on a connection point and hold the mouse button
- Drag to the target card and release on one of its connection points
Customizing a connection
Section titled “Customizing a connection”Click on a line to select it. In the action menu you can:
- Choose a style: straight line, curved line, or angled line
- Set the arrow direction: no arrow, one-sided, or two-sided
- Change the color of the line
Deleting a connection
Section titled “Deleting a connection”Click on the line and press Delete / Backspace, or select Delete from the context menu.
Moving connection points
Section titled “Moving connection points”When you move a connected element, the line adjusts automatically. The connection is preserved.
- Connection lines work well for sequences in a shot list (Scene 1 → Scene 2 → …)
- Use colors to distinguish different relationship types (e.g. orange = chronological, gray = thematic)
