Connection Lines

Connection lines show relationships between elements — such as sequences, dependencies, or thematic connections.

  1. Hover over an element — connection points (small circles) appear at its edges
  2. Click on a connection point and hold the mouse button
  3. Drag to the target card and release on one of its connection points

Click on a line to select it. In the action menu you can:

  • Choose a style: straight line, curved line, or angled line
  • Set the arrow direction: no arrow, one-sided, or two-sided
  • Change the color of the line

Click on the line and press Delete / Backspace, or select Delete from the context menu.

When you move a connected element, the line adjusts automatically. The connection is preserved.

  • Connection lines work well for sequences in a shot list (Scene 1 → Scene 2 → …)
  • Use colors to distinguish different relationship types (e.g. orange = chronological, gray = thematic)
