All Element Types

The Board supports 15 different element types. Access them via the toolbar at the bottom of the canvas, by double-clicking (text card), or by dragging from the Media Library.


The default block. Free-standing text with adjustable font size (10–96 px) and color.

Edit: Double-click to open the text editor.
Resize: Drag the corners.


Image from the Media Library or via upload. Displays a preview on the canvas.

Features:

  • Resize (drag corners)
  • Replace image source (right-click → Replace image)
  • Automatic color palette extraction — the dominant colors of the image are detected when inserted

Use case: Color palettes for shoots, looks, or brands directly on the moodboard.


A sticky note card in 5 color variants (yellow, green, blue, pink, purple). Ideal for quick notes and annotations.


URL preview card with title, description, and favicon. Enter a URL — the content is loaded automatically.


A transparent frame with a title for grouping elements. Drag a container over other elements to group them together.

Background color: Customizable (8 options).


File attachment (PDF, Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Appears as a clickable document tile with a file type icon.


YouTube or Vimeo embed directly on the canvas. Playable without leaving the page.


Audio player for music references, voice memos, or briefing recordings. Supports MP3, WAV, M4A, AAC.

Visualization: Animated waveform indicator during playback.


A location card with:

  • Address search + geocoding
  • Interactive map view
  • Sun position times (sunrise, golden hour, sunset) for the location and the current date
  • Notes field
  • Photo gallery (link images from the Media Library)

Ideal for location scouting directly on the moodboard.


An embedded database preview on the canvas. Shows the first rows of a table.


A calendar event list with inline-editable events. Displays events by day.


A non-nestable container for grouping. Can be given a background color.


Draw directly on the canvas with the pen tool. Switch to Draw mode (D).

Stroke width and color: Adjustable in the toolbar.


Connects two elements with a line. → Details on connection lines


Drag the corners or edges of an element.

Right-click → Duplicate or ⌘D.

Select an element → Delete / Backspace, or right-click → Delete.

Right-click → Bring forward / Send backward / Bring to front / Send to back.

With multiple elements selected: the toolbar shows Align options (left, center, right, top, middle, bottom) and Distribute (equal spacing).
