Kanban View
The Kanban view displays database entries as cards in columns — ideal for workflows, task management, and status tracking.
Requirement
Section titled “Requirement”You need at least one Select column in the table. The options of that column become the Kanban columns.
Setting up the view
Section titled “Setting up the view”- Click + View → Kanban
- Choose the grouping column (Select field)
- The Kanban view opens with one column per Select option
Moving cards
Section titled “Moving cards”Drag a card to another column via drag & drop. The value of the grouping column in that row is updated automatically.
Creating a card
Section titled “Creating a card”Click + New Card at the bottom of a column. The row is pre-filled with the column’s value.
Customising card content
Section titled “Customising card content”Click Fields (top right) → choose which columns should be displayed on the cards. For example: image as thumbnail, date, assignee.
Managing columns
Section titled “Managing columns”- Rename a column: Click the column header → change the option name in the column settings
- Add a column: Add a new option to the Select field — it immediately appears as a new Kanban column
- Hide a column: Click the eye icon next to a column to hide it (entries are kept)
Opening a card
Section titled “Opening a card”Click a card to open the row detail view — all fields, comments, and attachments.
Filters & sorting
Section titled “Filters & sorting”Filters and sorting apply to the Kanban view the same way as to the table view — they control which cards are displayed.
