Timeline View (Gantt)
The timeline view (also called Gantt view) shows entries as bars on a time axis — ideal for project planning, production phases, and scheduling overviews.
Requirement
Section titled “Requirement”You need two date columns: one for the start and one for the end of the entry.
Creating the view
Section titled “Creating the view”- Click + View → Timeline
- Choose the start column (left side of the bar)
- Choose the end column (right side of the bar)
Navigating the time axis
Section titled “Navigating the time axis”- Scroll: Scroll left/right to move along the time axis
- Zoom: Choose the granularity: days, weeks, months
Moving bars
Section titled “Moving bars”Click a bar and drag it to shift the start and end date simultaneously (moves the duration).
Drag the left or right edge of a bar to adjust only the start or end date.
Opening a bar
Section titled “Opening a bar”Click the name of a bar to open the row detail view.
Missing date values
Section titled “Missing date values”Entries without a start or end date are not displayed in the timeline. They remain visible in other views (table, Kanban).
