Board · Overview
The Board is a free, visual canvas, like a digital pinboard without grid constraints. You can freely arrange cards, images, text, audio, locations, and connection lines.
What you use Boards for

Creating a Board
Section titled “Creating a Board”In the sidebar, click + next to Moodboards, in a project the + on the project row → Moodboards, or use ⌘K → New board. In the dialog, type the name and press Enter, or pick a template first. To create a sub-board, use a board’s ”…” menu in the sidebar → Sub-moodboard.
Navigating the canvas

Creating an element
Section titled “Creating an element”- Double-click on empty space → new text card
- Toolbar at the bottom → choose element type
- Media Library → drag an image/video directly onto the canvas
- Paste (⌘V) → image or link from the clipboard; without the keyboard via + → Paste from clipboard. If there is no image on the clipboard, the board tells you. On a Mac, ⌃⇧⌘4 puts a screenshot on the clipboard; ⇧⌘4 only saves it as a file, which you can drag onto the board.
For bigger projects there is the Shoot prep template: an overview with sub-boards for idea, mood, storyboard (one column per scene), shot list and shoot day.
Selecting elements
Section titled “Selecting elements”- Single click → select one element
- ⇧+Click → select multiple elements
- Lasso: drag on empty space to draw a selection area
Undo & Redo
Section titled “Undo & Redo”- ⌘Z: Undo
- ⌘⇧Z: Redo
Templates
Section titled “Templates”When creating a board, you choose in the same dialog:

Your own templates appear under My templates. Save a board via Canvas actions (··· at the top right) → Save as template; all cards become the template.
