Web Clipper

The Web Clipper collects images, links, videos, and text from any website and drops them into a Clip Tray, from which you drag them straight onto your board. Perfect for moodboards, research, and inspiration collections — from Pinterest pins to product images in an online shop.

No installation, no browser plugin required: the clipper is a bookmarklet that works in any browser (Safari, Chrome, Firefox, Edge).

  1. Open a board and click the ✂ scissors icon in the top-right toolbar — the Clip Tray opens.
  2. When the tray is empty, it shows a “Clip to Pachurros” button.
  3. Show your browser’s bookmarks bar (⌘+Shift+B / Ctrl+Shift+B).
  4. Drag the button into your bookmarks bar.

Done. The bookmark now lives permanently in your browser.

  1. You’re on any website (e.g. a Pinterest pin, a product in a shop, an article).
  2. Optional: select some text you want to clip.
  3. Click the “Clip to Pachurros” bookmark.
  4. A small Pachurros window opens and shows a preview.

The clipper automatically detects the likely main content of the page and shows it large in the preview — marked “Likely the main image”.

  • On Pinterest, Instagram, YouTube, Vimeo, TikTok, the relevant pin / main image is shown with a platform marker.
  • On regular websites, the clipper picks the largest / most visible image as the main content.

Below it you’ll find a strip of other elements from the page (images, videos). Click a different element to clip that one instead.

  1. Choose the workspace to clip into.
  2. Click Clip (or “Clip image” / “Clip video”). The window closes automatically.

Clipped elements appear in the Clip Tray on the board. An orange counter badge on the ✂ icon shows how many clips are waiting.

Two ways to place a clip:

  • Drag — drag the clip card onto the spot you want on the canvas.
  • Click — click the card and it’s placed in the center of the visible area.

Once a clip is placed, it disappears from the tray immediately — no accidental double-placement.

When you place a clipped image on the board, Pachurros downloads it in the background and saves it to your media library (folder “Clipped”). The image is preserved even if the original source later deletes it or changes the URL. From there you can reuse it on other boards or pages.

  • Delete one — hover over a clip card and click the .
  • Delete all — button at the bottom of the tray.
  • Automatic cleanup — clips you don’t use for 7 days are removed automatically.

The clipper only transmits the content you actively clip — the current page URL, title, an optional text selection, plus the image and video addresses visible on the page. No browser data, cookies, or history are read. Transmission goes directly to your logged-in Pachurros account.
