Map View
The map view shows database entries as pins on an interactive map — ideal for location scouting, filming locations, or contacts with a geographical component.
Requirement
Section titled “Requirement”The table must contain a location column with valid addresses or coordinates.
Creating the view
Section titled “Creating the view”Click + View → Map. All entries with a location set appear immediately as pins.
Navigating the map
Section titled “Navigating the map”- Pan: Click and drag
- Zoom: Scroll wheel or pinch gesture
- Centre on content: Click Show all
Clicking a pin
Section titled “Clicking a pin”Clicking a pin opens a preview tile with the most important fields of the row. Click Open to see the full detail view.
Pin clustering
Section titled “Pin clustering”When many pins are close together, they are grouped and show a count. They separate when you zoom in.
Setting a location in a row
Section titled “Setting a location in a row”Open the row detail view → click the location cell → search for an address or enter coordinates. The geocoder automatically converts the address into coordinates.
